At all times, the health, safety and wellbeing of our clients, coaches and the wider community is paramount to us. During our initial Safe Place conversation - and throughout our time supporting you – our coaching team are focused on keeping you safe and stay alert to any changes in your state of mind and wellbeing.

We want to be sure that Act 5 support is right for you – and remains the right type of support during our coaching conversations with you.

Traumatic times are often unpredictable.

Traumatic situations are often unpredictable, and we remain alert to any shift in the psychological state of our clients once we’ve started working with them.

This means that we may suggest the need to engage another therapeutic service alongside or in replacement to our support if this would be more beneficial.

Act 5 is part of Actualise Business Psychology Limited, and all our team are regulated and overseen by both the Health Professions Council and the British Psychological Society.

Other Support Options.

Many people are living through difficult, traumatic and challenging times in their lives at any one time, whether they are in a leadership position or not.

And we appreciate that the personalised, tailored support that we provide at Act 5 is not accessible, relevant or suitable for everyone.

If you (or someone you know) are at immediate risk of harming themselves or other people, dial 999 or go directly to your local Accident and Emergency Department or equivalent in your local area.

There are also free helplines for when you're feeling down or desperate, and many of these are open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. You can also call these helplines for advice if you're worried about a friend or family member.

If you do not want to talk to someone over the phone, the Shout text line is open 24 hours a day, every day. This is open to everyone. Text "SHOUT" to 85258

Let family or friends know what's going on for you. They may be able to offer support and help keep you safe. If you find it difficult to talk to someone you know, you could:

  • call a GP – ask for an emergency appointment
  • call NHS 111 or get help from NHS 111 online – they will help you find the support and help you need
  • contact your mental health crisis team

We are not affiliated, associated, authorised, endorsed by or in any way officially connected with the organisations listed above but we hope that by providing links to these non-profit organisations, that those who need help and support in a time of crisis, can find it.

Every six months, we donate 10% of our income (after costs) from supporting Act 5 clients to our chosen charity, Papyrus.
